Support Me

In July 2012 I embarked on a journey that would forever change my life. The World Race allowed me to go to 11 countries in 11 months, and during that time I became a voice for voiceless women around the globe who found themselves in oppressive situations.

In learning to be their voice, I found my own and began the blog you see here. Shortly thereafter I was recruited to be a founding member of Kingdom Journeys to do healing retreats for women across the globe. During that time I was able to disciple women who had left the sex trade in Thailand and the Philippines, and also widows and marginalized women in Africa.

These women I ministered to taught me so much. Often times I would find myself in complete awe as I listened to their stories and toward the end of my journey I felt God to prompting me to write a book telling their stories.

A week later Adventures in Missions (my sending organization that I went on the Race and Kingdom Journeys with) offered me a position teaching storytelling to CGA apprentices while getting the opportunity to write my book. In addition, I manage all written content for the organization as the lead storyteller.

Another aspect of my work is continuing to disciple the women who left the sex trade in the Philippines and encourage our long-term staff down there.

God is working through me hugely here at Adventures and I have already grown so much in my time here! As part of my position I have been charged with the task of raising $5,500 a year. This is a hefty goal and I cannot do it without your help.

If you believe in what I do, or what I write, or have been moved in anyway, please consider becoming a monthly or one-time donor. Anything helps, and with your generosity we can continue to build God’s kingdom. All donations are tax-deductible and are easy to set up through the button below.
